Whew! I've been busy lately. It's all good. Time with my boys in the Bay area and siblings in Arizona in addition to the continuing enthusiastic reception of Scopeware from almost everyone who learns about it.
One of the more interesting happenings lately for emerging technology enthusiasts like me is TIME Magazine's The Future of Life conference which just concluded in Monterey California. Time held the conference in honor of the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the DNA double helix. The February 17 issue of TIME Magazine was devoted to the matters being discussed at the conference.
Ray Kurzweil was one of the featured speakers at the conference. He has published a copy of his talk about the Human Body Version 2 here: http://www.kurzweilai.net/articles/art0551.html?printable=1
The near-future for humanity is going to be quite remarkable no matter the respected scientist, technologist, inventor or business leader queried or the scientific discipline being considered. We are certainly living in interesting times.
